Title: Body putty and cold temps
Post by: Racer57 on January 30, 2019, 07:35:29 PM
When it gets as cold as its been (-12 here this morning) would body putty start to pop off because it won't shrink like metal would ?  I keep my Cuda in my attached garage and it never gets below 45 so I'm not worried about it, but was just curious.

Not if it was applied correctly.

That's pretty much my opinion of it, too. Never say never, though not likely.

I have never heard of anything like that happening. The only thing regarding expansion/contraction I have heard of is visible ghost lines from filler in the high heat.
