Title: 70 Challenger 440 Positive Battery Cable Routing
Post by: schlett7nu1 on February 04, 2019, 03:29:19 PM
Did all Challenger 440 positive battery cables route through a plastic wire retainer mounted to the top of the LH front shock mount stud?  Is it possible on later model year cars that this cable was bundled through the LH fender well clear plastic wire retainer instead of a separate retainer on the shock mount?  I want to make sure my car is correct.  I noticed this shock mount retainer is present on Dave Walden's awesome white Challenger in the attached pic.
thanks

If it's on the white car then it has to be correct. :alan2cents:

Yup: And it makes sense that cable has to be secured so it doesn't rub on the shock threads.
