Title: Looking for specific Overflow Hose
Post by: Daveh on March 20, 2019, 03:27:33 PM
Hey guys,

I'm installing a Billet Specialties overflow tank.  It has two nipples at the bottom one to drain and one that goes to the radiator fill nipple.  I don't want the hose to kink at the bottom of the overflow tank at the bottom so I'm looking for a 3/8" or 5/16" hose with a 90 degree bend with enough slack that it will reach the top of the radiator.

Any suggestions????

Thanks

Dave

I bought a stainless overflow tank from Summit Racing.  It had two nipples at the bottom as well.  Here's what I did to mine...

I cut off the center nipple and drilled out the bottom to accept a 6AN fitting.  There is a sealing washer and nut on the inside of the tank.  Then I took some old aluminum fuel line and a cheap tubing bender and bent a hard line to run from the fitting all the way up to the radiator nipple.  I wanted to minimize the amount of rubber hose that is visible. I used a 6AN tube nut and sleeve to attach the aluminum line to the can.
