Title: Seam sealer location
Post by: Rdchallenger on June 07, 2019, 05:36:45 PM
Is there anything printed or photos available as to where all gets seam sealer? After I weld in my quarters this week I plan to finish epoxying the trunk, interior, and engine bay. After the epoxy, I would like to apply fresh seam sealer as mine was blasted out. Also where the Dutchman panel and quarters meet does sealer get applied to the outside to stop water from coming into the trunk area.

On areas like the dutch man panel and cowel the factory put it between the panels and spot welded through it. Unless you have a good spot welder you have to put it on top. Fusor makes a seam sealer than can be spot welded through.
