Just passing along what I consider a good solution to mounting car seats into a Cuda.
Lower Restraint
I use the factory lap belts to retain the lower portion of the seat, but it is quite a pain to work with the course ratcheting of the factory belt. It wants to be either "too tight" or "too loose" and I have to wrestle with it to get it to suck down well.
One could investigate replacing the buckle and reel with "LATCH" hooks, which I may do in the future.
Upper Restraint
I used BMW 330CI restraint anchors along with a small 1/8" aluminum scab plate on the package tray. The function here is a form of anti-rotation, the primary seat loading relies upon the lower seat restraint.
This solution offers a pretty minimally invasive installation and looks quite good, in my opinion.
