Title: brake pedal height
Post by: mopar jack on July 22, 2019, 08:35:34 AM
Has anyone lowered their brake pedal to match the throttle pedal? On my newer cars I leave my heel on the floor and swing my foot from throttle to brake no problem. On the old cars you gotta lift your foot off the floor to stomp on the brake. Fortunately I have been driving the old car long enough that the brake position is automatic.

Can be done by shortening the brake pushrod but you do not want to run out of travel

I agree on brake rod adjustment. Maybe move the throttle a little to split the difference but might create a problem for the cable.

Throttle pedal is not hard to move , you can bend the lower part to raise the pedal height
