Title: Monroney sticker or window sticker reproduction
Post by: wanderlustin on September 11, 2019, 02:33:41 PM
Has anyone purchased a reproduction window sticker for their Dodge or Plymouth?  I've never seen one in person but wondering a few things...

1. How was it typed originally?  Was it dot matrix or hand typed?
2. How would a reproduction version get typed up?  I can barely imagine loading it up into a typewriter but cannot imagine getting the columns lined up properly!
3. Is there adhesive on the front like original?
4. If the sticker provider includes typing up vehicle info what documentation would they need?  Perhaps they just provide a list of check boxes and you check off what you'd like show?  I was      thinking I could just provide a build sheet but not sure how I feel about sending a copy to a random stranger.
5. What does it cost and who is preferred vendor?

I've used these guys a couple of times, finished product looks good, not 100% sure if it's completely accurate, but it looks good.
Naturally, the more info you have to start, the better the end result will be...

@benlavigne (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/benlavigne_505) thanks for the lead!  I'm going to give those guys a shot.  $40 is a fair price for that service!

Cool. With two build sheets on my 70, I'm gonna give this a try. Thanks.
