I've got my 70 383 on the engine stand and I'm going through it prepping it for paint. It has been painted a couple of times in its life and looks rough, so it's hard to tell how it was from the factory.
A couple of questions;
1) was the crank pulley engine colour, or black from the factory?
2) were the engine mount brackets and bolts on the engine when it was painted in the factory, or added after it was painted?
Both items painted black and installed after the engine was painted.
