what are nice original shaker bubbles worth these days. thinking of selling one of them.

It depends on that and how nice is nice.

I've seen bubbles claimed as nice because they were not snapped in half.

"Real" value?  I recently sold a really nice un-broke original bare bubble for $1,500, I would say your trade was pretty equal for a nice original AAR/TA base and lid.  I've been sitting on an NOS AAR/TA base and lid I gladly paid $2,500 for several years ago.
