Title: 4speed identification
Post by: cuda hunter on January 07, 2020, 04:23:44 PM
I know that I don't have the numbers from the trans.  I will get those eventually.
But with that 4 speed came the shifter, shifter mechanism and the pedals.

I'm not positive but i think the pedals look like a body.

Can someone tell me what the pedals are.

These pics are of my 71 3 speed.  But it's packed in storage and the one I'm trying to figure out is 5 hours from me.

I was hunting and didn't want to full with the parts when we stopped at a garage for a few minutes between locations.
That's also why the pictures are terrible.

These two pictures are also my 71 but I can't find any definitive bends that says one way or the other.

The shifter looks to be correct. The pedal assembly doesn't, that is a wide clutch pedal for sure. kind of looks like something from the 60's.   :alan2cents:

 :iagree:
I cannot see enough of the trans to figure out what it is , it could be a short A body unit or an earlier b body

Pedals look to be later A Body or even F Body ?

The pedal pads suggest late 60's A or B.
