Title: Hughes Whiplash cam???
Post by: Sparxx on January 12, 2020, 08:25:53 PM
Looking at ordering one for my 360. I have a fairly stock 71-74 block. Holley Dominator intake, Edelbrock 4bbl, headers, MSD ignition, and MSD distributor. Looking for something low dollar that sounds good and is decent for street driving. What's everyone opinion?

I thought they were hokey advertising however a friend put one in a low compression 440 and it cooked pretty good.

A buddy put one in his very 383 stock rebuild and it sounds pretty mean and gets up nicely.  I'd consider one.

Your build looks like its got a lot of intake for a mild build.

Hughes advertise their cams are true Mopar cams and you suppose to have all the information on the car and engine before you call them.
