Can some one tell me the correct valve stem length for a 15"x7" rallye wheel?
I can reliably say what ever is longer than mine! The trim rings make mine too short... :headbang:
They used extensions on the valve stems on wheels with trim rings. Chrysler had a few different lengths of extensions, and there were 2 styles, one with white plastic valves and the other with stainless steel. I never figured out exactly which was right when I restored my T/A, the ones I have on my wheels still seem a bit too short. :headbang:
Thanks guys, you say your stems are took short (hmm, that sounds bad) but can you tell me how long they are and how long you would like them to be?
I'm not a matching numbers original guy but I used 1-1/2 stems and this is what they look like.
The correct 1970 valve stem length is 1.25". :alan2cents:
no comment on the price but here are the valve stem extensions. I bought some in years past from Ehrenberg on ebay for much less $ but I don't think he is selling them anymore?

Perfect, thanks! 1-1/4" stem with a 3/4" extension.
