Title: VIN DECODER
Post by: Metwurst on February 22, 2020, 08:49:18 PM
:Australia:  In relation to your VIN Decoder, when you choose the '0' which is the year of manufacturer of my Challenger, it states that the "0" is for the YOM, but afterwards in brackets it states 'F' series, should it not be 'E' series?

F is 1970... E is 1969....

Your thinking of car designs, Cuda's & Challengers are E bodies....

To further complicate matters a Challenger is designated by the first letter of it's VIN the letter "J"...

:iagree:  Yes, F is the year 1970 and the letter E is the body style.  I can see how that could be confusing.

@Metwurst (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/metwurst_6309)  In all VIN's there is no letter O, they use a zero not the letter O but the number.  :alan2cents:            :welcome:  :handshake:

It appears I have selected the correct 'Gene Pool'!
