Title: Barracuda tail light panel question
Post by: Matt13 on March 06, 2020, 04:52:21 PM
What is the difference between the 1972 panel and the 1973/4 panel? They look identical to me.

Good question , I thought they were all the same too. If no one knows here I'd call AMD and ask what the difference is since they're making them.

Year one and a few other Classic Mopar parts places separate 1972 from the 73-74 tail light panels, so there's gotta be a reason.

1973- 1974 uses a different trunk lock cylinder which requires a different shape hole, 1970-72 use the typical lock cylinder, a round hole with four rectangle cutouts, and the 1974 trunk cylinder uses a large double ''D'' shaped hole.
