Title: Would this brake booster fit on a 1970 small block?
Post by: mopar thunder on March 06, 2020, 05:31:16 PM
Was wondering what size this power booster is and if it would fit a 1970 small block? If so where is the best place to get one? I see a lot of the larger ones that stick out farther into the engine bay.Does that mean it is a dual diaphram?

That one looks to be a 71 style. The 70s are crimped together

That's just the stock E Body power brake booster, used on a lot of different Mopars of the same era....Rebuilt ones are available at any parts store or Rockauto  :alan2cents:

I assume the double diaphram is better than the single for stopping power. Wow, I just checked Rock Auto and they are out of stock of 1970 and 1971.
