Title: Firewall Clutch Pedal Bracket Finish?

Pretty sure those were bare metal.

Thanks, I have an NOS one that definitely has some type of coating.  The main body part looks to be a gray phosphate, studs look bare.  And, I realize NOS isn't always the same as assembly line😀

I think bare metal or a gray phosphate perhaps....then also, the NOS one might have been plated different for longer shelf life...sort of like control arms being painted black etc... :dunno:
