Title: Clutch Safety Switch
Post by: edison1970 on May 21, 2020, 01:00:44 PM
I have a safety switch for my car that I didn't install because it didn't work. Had some spare time in the past month to finally attempt to fix it. I got it to work but the problem I have is one of the tabs that hold the black cover on snapped off. Any ideas on a fix for this? I thought about zapping it with the welder but it doesn't look weldable.

Common problem with that year/style switch. I've seen people drill a small hole close to the edge of the cap, then screw in a small screw so the edge of the screw will hold the cap down tight......I like your welding idea better... :dunno:
