Title: Cuda vinyl top trim position
Post by: Tony 73 on June 03, 2020, 03:57:38 PM
Hi.
Sail panel has had trim holes welded over so I need to get measurements to get trim in correct position. I did a search on the forum and there was some helpful info.
I see the trim is level with the drip rail trim and someone said it has around 1/4 inch gap.
A photo or measurement of the distance between the window trim and vinyl top trim would be very helpful.
I assume if I get both ends in correct position then the middle section just needs to be parallel with the window trim.
Thanks
Tony

Can you see the welded up holes from underneath?

I think you're on the right track, it should lay comfortably on the car parallel to the window trim :alan2cents:

I can see a couple from the underside but not enough to help.

Found a great drawing on this forum for challenger holes ( 14 holes) but I think cuda has less as I saw a photo of a 71 being stripped and looked like 12.

As you say, get it to lay flat and parallel with window trim.

Close up photo of a 70/71 vinyl/window trim be great.

Thanks for replies
