If you are new to this forum here's some of the neat features that you might find useful:
- Posting Photos: Simply click on the "Choose File" when posting and select the photo you want to post. ANY SIZE PHOTO can be posted. The photo will automatically be attached as a thumbnail in your response.
- Adding Full Screen Photos to your reply: click on the photo you have uploaded. Use the right hand mouse bottom and select "Copy Image Address". Using the buttons above the smiley faces click "Insert Image" and you should see the text [ img][/img ] added to your reply. Paste the photo link in the middle of the boxes like this [ img] paste photo link here[/img ]. That will show the photo in your comment area at full screen.
- Mentioning Members: You can Mention members in posts so they get notified that someone is wanting them to look at the topic. Mention members (sometimes called "Tagging Members") is done by typing @ then immediately followed by the users name (no space after the @ symbol). They will send a message that you "Mentioned" the user in a post. Adjusting Mentions notification is done under "Profile / Mentions".
- eBay link: Add an eBay link in your reply by clicking the "eBay" button above the smiley faces and then add the eBay item number between the boxes like this [ ebay]123456789[/ebay ]. That will post a link to the eBay auction.
- Adding Tags to posts: Use the line under the Subject to add Tags. Separate the Tags by a comma like this: 440, Holley, Misfire, and so on.
- Saving Drafts: This allows you to save new topics, replies, and polls as drafts. You can view your drafts in your Profile as well as on the Post page.
- Trade / Deal Feedback: Leave Positive, Neutral or Negative feedback for people you have done deals with. Click on the users Profile and look for "Submit feedback" to leave feedback. Prior to leaving Neutral or Negative feedback be sure to contact the member and try to work it out. Check the users feedback by clicking the "Trade Count" under their name.
- Gallery: The Gallery can be used to easily host photos and videos. Members also have a "My Gallery" section where you can keep and save photos. If you see something you like, add it to your "Favorites" for easy access in the future. There's Direct Links and BB Code links below each photo to make it easy to share on this site or other sites. You can also click the "Share" button to share on your facebook page.
- YouTube: Posting a YouTube video in a thread is done by clicking the YouTube button (above the smiley faces). You should see this [ youtube][/youtube ] added to your reply. Paste the YouTube link in the middle of the boxes like this [ youtube] paste Youtube link here[/youtube ].
- The Prize Shop: The E-Bodies.org Prize Shop is a way for members to redeem forum credits they have earned from participating on the forum. Items in the Prize Shop can only be purchased with forum credit and members earn credit by starting or replying to posts. Prizes in the Prize Shop are a direct result of the website sponsors, so the more web traffic and sponsorship the site gets, the better and cheaper the prizes will be. Members earn 10 credits for each post or reply. The maximum credit each member can earn in a single day is 30. A simple smiley or short reply will not trigger the program to issue credits. So be sure to post or respond with more then about a dozen characters if you want to earn forum credit. Since these are prizes there are no exchanges or returns. All purchases are final. Forum Credit has no value and can not be traded, gifted or combined. We reserve the right to update, modify, or adjust the prizes as needed. Since this is a new program there could be some needed adjustments to make it work and we reserve the right to cancel it. We can assure you our goal is to reward those members who visit regularly and participate in discussion topics. Members outside the US or Canada will need to pay actual shipping.
Want to bump this up to the top since we have a few new members. Besides being easy to post photos, there are some cool features like "Mentioning Members" and the "Prize Shop". Looks like most have found the like button.

Being an Apple guy (iPad & iPhone), my photos carry the .jpeg extension. If I read the error message correctly, I can only post .jpg extensions? Are there any plans to include .jpeg?
Maybe I'm missing it or something, but is the little orange and white "like" button present in all posts? Seems sometime I like something and I can't find the "like" button. Am I just missing it?

Not sure I'm the one who should answer that. :looney: I'm a "like" whore and "like" everything. Maybe I should cut back a bit. :'(
It's a way to give a tip of your hat to someone so they know you like what they said. Kinda like a thumbs up or telling someone you dig what they'll saying.

Okay....but how would one know if someone "liked" their post other then your own "like" count, you don't really know what it was that you said that people liked :clueless:
Alan, glad you asked. :twothumbsup: So there's a couple ways to see how much people appreciate your posts. The first and most obvious is the "Like" total that you see under everyone avatar. But here's a couple more ways to see the "Likes":
If a post has any likes, you'll a blue link next to the "like" button. Click the link and it will bring up a list of everyone who "liked" it.
You can also look at your Profile and click on the "
Like Posts" to view everyone of your posts that someone has liked. You'll also see the total number of people that "liked" it.
