If this is real, I bet this person owns at least one Mopar.

He was spotted at 3,000 ft. altitude according to the news I saw.
This looks like it could go that high.
Im just wondering of all places to fly a jet pack why would someone choose to do that in an area of heavy jet traffic? It seems in this day and age if it was real the person piloting the jet pack would have put it on you tube. Maybe the pilot had a few too many before takeoff?
Now THAT looks like FUN !!!!!
Well I realize it cant be the pilots imagination after reading more that one plane spotted the jet pack.

People here in California are truly crazy. I just think of East Bay drivers
just think of all the headaches this is causing homeland security, FBI, FAA & others - especially if that jet pack individual is still anonymous :crying:
Discussions are that it was actually a drone. Possibly one made up to appear like a jetpack flyer.
There are flying carpets out there...
Would really like to find out the truth.
There's a couple of things about this that make me wonder. #1 who in their right mind would want to be at 3000ft wearing this much gear and nothing else? #2- there can't be too many places, even in Crazyfornia, who sell this gear and, as mentioned, #3 how could there not be some media presence about doing this? #4 what's the range and service ceiling of these things, #5 why the hell would they fly it in a commercial aircraft flight path? #6- how would you feel about all this if the asshole had've hit and possibly knocked down a plane with your wife and kids in it? Have fun boys, but don't endanger innocent people doing it by all means! I won't even mention a possible- though not likely terrorist aspect in this. :looney:

Humans will never fly like the jetson's if all we focus on are the fearful aspects of flight.
I like the fact that I can actually buy all of these products and only a few are license required.

#1- Me
#2- All these products can be purchased in America. 150,000 is the cheapest jet pack I can find currently.
#3- No media needed if I was just out enjoying a good flight
#4- Jet pack can travel at 304 mph. Autonomous lift system. 20,013 feet ceiling. 13 minute flight time.
7.87 feet wide. 88 lbs of thrust. 119.5 lbs made of carbon fiber, fiberglass and aluminum.
#5- They are jack asses and are breaking the rules. Usually that will get you shot.
#6- Same goes for drones, guns, bombs and birds. Responsibility is the answer. If a terrorist wants to take
down a plane there are plenty of ways to do it that are far cheaper than buying a jet pack.
Hmmm this one supposedly was at 30,000 ft . . Looks like fun to me. So how do they land?
Brings to mind the movie "The Rocketeer".
Al
They land by hovering. Go to 3:33 on the second video.
