Title: Christmas present
Post by: GoMangoBoys on December 26, 2020, 06:48:46 AM
I bought a set of valve covers from a guy on FB Marketplace.  He sent me 1 used one, 1 new one, and 1 broken one.  I decided on a use for the broken one (after I glued it together).  I used a camshaft with a worn lobe that I removed from the 57 Chevy along with a used timing set from the same car.
Now my son has a desk lamp to match his engine.

Now I need to get some hardware to build one for my older son.

Really nice! I keep saving worn parts to build something but I don't have the imagination that some of the builds I see around.
