What's a good way to polish gauge lenses to bring back clarity and remove minor scratches? Will body polish work?
McGuire's makes a clear plastic polish :dunno:
Thanks Alan. :bigthumb:
Funny, I was going to post this same question. The previous owner sand blasted the car with the dash still in it and the guage lenses are a little frosted. I will try this.
Thanks.

These are the two I use....
Maybe just step two, the "polish" :dunno:
I have used a headlight restoration kit in the past. Made the lenses look new.
Thanks for the input on this one fellas. I ended up getting this product at Summit since this is all most places carry now. It worked great. I polished the lenses under all 4 pods and spent less than 20 minutes doing them all. They are like brand new!!!

oh what ya selling?
I have some older plastic polish that I used on my gauges years ago. Worked great.
You are welcome to it!
Jason
Gauge lenses from the Charger. I already pick up some Meguiar's.
Depending on how deep the scratches are you may need to sand them out with some wet and dry sandpaper. My lenses had some pretty deep scratches that polish wouldn't remove, believe me I tried before going to sandpaper. I then sanded them out just like cut and buffing the car paint ending with 3000 grit. Then came the polishes. Now the lens looks brand new. Good luck with yours. Hope your scratches aren't as deep as mine were. :bigthumb:
