Title: Sunvisors 70 Challenger hardtop
Post by: broughj on February 22, 2021, 07:47:16 AM
What do the screws look like that are used to attach the sunvisor to the header panel?  Looks like it could just be a sheet metal screw, but the holes in the mounting plate much larger than needed for a sheet metal screw.  Sunvisors were not installed when I got the basket case, but have the visors and mounting brackets and a coffee can of screws.  Was hoping to find what I need in there.

Thanks,

They are a Phillips Screw, with a larger flat head, likely a #10 X 3/4" maybe....Unique to 70-71 Sun visors, not used anywhere else on the car...Any screw will work as long as it doesn't have a large dome head that might interfere with the plastic pivot cover. :alan2cents:

Thanks.  I'll dig around in my can of screws and see if I find something.
