Title: hood emblem nuts
Post by: GoMangoBoys on April 03, 2021, 01:58:38 PM
We are ready to mount the 383 Magnum emblems on the hood.  I am looking for some tips on how to get your hand in there to put the nuts on the pins.  I just don't see how.  Do we take out the hood scoop inserts?
Thanks

Typically hood emblems just use a push-in fastener with no nuts... :alan2cents:

Not sure if these are the correct size, but this is the type of push-in fastener needed

So do these push thru the holes in the hood from the outside and then the pins of the emblem push in?

Yes, most new emblems come with plastic ones already attached to the emblem which would work too...
