I recently installed 3" H-Pipe exhaust with Dr Gas Boom Tube side exhaust mufflers. I was looking for a deep, throaty sound, and loud of course. I also wanted a side exhaust that stayed tucked up tight to the car. The Boom Tubes did not disappoint. They are high quality material and fit perfect. You can get the side exhaust with or with out a muffler built in, which also cleans up the undercarriage. They also offer other mufflers that vary from quiet to extreme.

The Boom Tubes fit nicely!
Looks good AND sounds GREAT!
:iagree: Nice job
Love the look and sound!
Wish I had seen these before buying more traditional T/A style Chrome tips. I like that you can barely see them. Still an option for cutouts.
Sounds terrific

Yeah!! Those sound awesome. That initial startup was cool :bigthumb:
They sound very healthy. I was kind of expecting a burnout or something :burnout:
Not the sort of thing I usually like but those look cool. You show good taste on that car.
WOW!!! I am so glad I joined this site. I had plans to use some spin tech side exit mufflers and route to side but these are actually the look I was after. Another one of the renderings I used for my design was this one with the red stripe and the oval side exit exhaust. It almost looks like he had seen the Dr Gas mufflers when he drew it up. I'm assuming you went with 3" and flat side on bottom?
I'll order mine next week. I have some Pypes X tubing that I didn't use on my Charger due to Gear Vendor OD. Mike
QuoteThey are loud so be prepared.
I keep forgetting to listen to the video when I get home from work. I really like the way it looks. IF it gets to be too loud, it looks like you have plenty of room to use a glasspack style muffler right after the collectors. Walker makes a "tough turbo" muffler that looks like a glasspack from the outside but is baffled on the inside. Someone might even make a thin square/flat muffler that would fit there.
Not saying you'll need one but exhaust is a very personal thing. What sounds good to one person is way too loud for another. Adding another muffler inline would quiet it down.
If you get sick of it dan don't bother with the exhaust, you know where that car's next home is! :slapme5: :takemymoney:
Looks different - in a positive way - AND sounds great! A deep, healthy vroooom :burnout:
Finally remembered to listen to the video. That sounds great! The entire car looks fantastic!
Sounds amazing.
Is that a modern hemi?
Where did you get the AAR style graphics with the custom 392?

Can you post a pic of how they mounted the boom tube to the car please. I'm working on mine now and will be doing it at home with Pypes x pipe. Thanks, Mike
The AAR style side exhaust I had on included a bracket mounted to the inside of the frame rails, so we just used that for the boom tubes. It holds it perfect with no bouncing and clears the pinch weld just enough.
Nice install. I think one of these days I'm going to have to check out your car in person since you are local to me and I'm doing a pro-touring Challenger with a 6.1.

Anytime Wes! Just PM me and we can plan something.
Just relaxing at home on a Friday night, watching MASH and listening to exhaust clips. Love the sound of this car!
Nice setup for sure. And sounds great! :ohyeah:
