Title: Carb ID
Post by: erik70rt on June 05, 2017, 06:05:28 PM
I have an old carb that has been sitting around for a long time.  I an not sure what it is, but it looks like an old Eddy w/ electric choke.  Only number on the carb is 787 9636SA.  Any idea what it is?  Carter?  I can't seem to find anything on it.

Thanks, Cody.  Any idea of the actual application?

It's an aftermarket replacement - no specific application.

It's a Carter aftermarket 625 CFM with Chrysler linkage. I think it was calibrated for emissions. As I remember the 9626 was Chrysler performance and the 9636 was Chrysler emissions.

I have the identical piece I offered 4-sale 7-yrs back...not one single inquiry

perhaps a pair would make a good dual quad set up
