Seems kinda fishy... :vipermanhiding:
Has a J code vin

"Full write up coming soon", Another Pulitzer I'm sure, I can hardly wait.
A little optimistic on the price too. :alan2cents:
Bunch of Gran Coupe options but J code vin with two green fender tags, one looks to say Trans Am but hard to te4ll?

I'd put my money on that. Looks like they slapped an AAR vin, hood, and some decals on a Gran coupe.
Picture of the fender tag plate (source: https://www.garagekeptmotors.com/vehicles/1693/1970-plymouth-aar-cuda):
Tags look like nice originals, so it likely wasn't rusted to nothing. Crash history might prove interesting. I love FJ6, I wonder if there was any of it ever sprayed on this patched up shell?
I was trying to find some photo's underneath the cars and usually the only ones I can find are from sites selling cars. My recent searches turned up a LOT of T/As and AARs. These cars are kinda rare, yet it seems every other one for sell is one.

Yeah, but when you start comparing TA and AAR production numbers to the production number breakdown for the different engine options for Challenger RTs and Cudas then they really aren't all that rare.
So, what is this? An AAR disguised as a Gran Coupe? A 440-6 Gran Coupe with AAR fender tags? I hope I'm not stepping on any toes, but why would someone (likely) add the AAR fender tags, but keep the A/C dash, the rear exhaust valance with tips, and the Gran Coupe interior? (Note the inspection plate missing off the trans.) Ugh!!
Yes, the price is VERY optimistic.
I wonder what the VIN tag on the dash actually reads
and if the body numbers match?

Well that just brings up more questions doesn't it... :looney:
I agree, it's likely a rebody...but if it was priced around $30K, it would be a great car to restore to the tags....FJ6 is rare on an AAR and with a black top, 4speed and rally dash...that's about as good as it gets :drooling:
Whats up with the two 5's on the tag...or is it just me
