Title: Challenger fuel line shield
Post by: R/T's 4 R/P on June 21, 2021, 06:17:36 AM
I realize that most Challengers with California evap probably stayed in the southwest. However, for those instances where a car went north these fuel line shields rotted away or were removed. (They attached to the back of the wheel house and shielded the vent lines)
What is this worth? It looks grimey because it still has undercoating on it.
I can bring to Carlisle, too if interested.

IIRC, those are available, reproduction. The skinnier piece, that shields the vapor lines, and passes through the frame rail, is the tougher, of the two shields, to get. I am not sure if they bothered with the skinnier piece, in '71.
You can see part of it, as it passes through the frame, to the left, and screws into the piece you have.

To be honest, it's not worth much. It's easy to make your own with a little work.

How about if I said it was off a Hemi car?!
Thanks.
I didn't want to throw it out before I checked.
