I have a bunch or alternators and starters and wondering if anyone buys cores there as it would save on shipping?
At one of those big shows, unfortunately I think it was the Nationals there was a vendor who said he'd buy specific cores only. The ones with the bearing cap like in my picture. Sorry, can't remember who that was, but he did have a table full of alternators. Sorry again, I know this reply is pretty much useless.
Check with Jim Ridge. He doesn't bend at Carlisle but he's usually there looking for cores with good dates.
I was going to say...most people only want certain numbers and good dates etc...otherwise they just get recycled for scrap.
Had a starter go bad on one of my Challengers the other day, NAPAs core charge was $2!
Takes more than $2 in gas to drive there to return a core...
I have one with the original bearing cap, a couple `70 date codes, a `66 and a `64, the rest are newer for alternators, haven`t checked dates on starters yet, also have a couple extra power steering gears.

He only buys cores that don't have any rebuilders marks stamped on them.
I need September or October 1969. I would buy a core if you had one,,, or two or three. :))
Been selling cores for 37 years... Most of the older stuff isn't worth crap. If your lucky you'll have some specific number pieces, but overall most of it's not worth hauling.
If you still have cores, send me a message with what you have.
