I spent MANY hours restoring our grille. I completely disassembled it by grinding off all the rivets. I bought new rivets but did not have the proper rivet tool. Mike offered to help me with his tool. I went over last week and he helped me install all the rivets. All that is except for the ones that hold on the bracket that I did not know I was missing. Luckily he had one that he could show me. After I tried without success to buy a bracket, I went back to Mike's shop to make a template of his. I went home, made and painted my new bracket, and this morning Mike helped me finish up the last 3 rivets.
He has sure been a great asset for me to have nearby.
That's awesome! Glad he could help you out! :clapping: Looks great!
I sure wish i was closer to his shop. I'd love to check it out and shoot the shit.
Glad that all worked out for ya.
And, Do you have any pictures of your grill you have restored? And the rivets. And the bracket you made? Let's see em!
Mike's the man, always willing to help.
I miss his posts about techniques and improvements he used to share with us. :bye:

Yea... but at least nobody's feeling are getting hurt anymore.
Seems canadians are breeding thin skins up there.
Please keep up the pictures Ross. Even if they are just a few screws that need to be replaced.
I enjoy learning every little bit I can.
