Title: 72 Rallye
Post by: RUNCHARGER on June 11, 2017, 04:39:02 PM
I don't usually ask WIW but this car is interesting. 72, 340, auto Rally in a HIP colour, all original with 100,000 miles, original paint but they sanded and left it (in a garage) so it needs paint and light rust repair above the headlights on the fenders and behind the wheels on the quarters. All original and everything is there from the correct aircleaner to the original wheels and exhaust tips. I am thinking $15k should be the high value? I've seen molested cars at that value and this car is not molested.

If they would have left the paint on it would have been worth a lot more.  Original cars are pretty hard to find.  But I think you're in the ballpark on price.  I would put the price ranges like this: A perfectly restored 72 Challenger 340 = $35K to $40K / A nice driver  = $20K to $25K  / a soild all complete car = $12K / normal project with need of metal work, paint and most everything $5K to $8K.   :alan2cents:
