Car companies just got so uninspired with their government mandated band aid fixes, ex those bumpers and more convoluted emission control band aids.  Not mention design. No wonder the imports become such the powerhouse that they are now.

They call that era the malaise era, and it doesn't get any more malaise than the Mitsubishi Challenger!

Maybe my Plymouth Sapporo? The same car, but not as "sporty".
