Title: Local Concours pictures
Post by: JH27N0B on August 23, 2021, 06:49:46 PM
There is a Concours in Geneva, a west suburb of Chicago, every year.
Weather was nice for it yesterday and some interesting features.  Not much in the way of Mopars sadly. Oh well.
Here's my pictures

Great pictures as always, but I'm going to say it one more time....you guys in the States are so lucky that this Covid stuff hasn't affected your ability to have events like this...I can't believe how much I miss that kind of stuff... :headbang:

It's amazing to be looking at cars 100 years old or more. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I'm amazed at how much the 1948 Tucker had the fastback look like the early Corvettes, Rambler Marlin, early Barracudas, etc. I really like it.

What an amazing assortment of pristine automobiles.  That green T-Bird is so representative of the color explosion that was beginning in the US car market. I miss the good feelings that these bright colors give you.  Black, white and grey nowadays.  It's like going backwards from color TV to black and white TV.
