Title: Any 70-71 Challengers in the DC area? "Black Ghost" on display
Post by: Poolshark314 on September 02, 2021, 03:07:14 PM
The Historic Vehicle Association (Hagerty Drivers Foundation) is putting on a few events in DC and one of them will be featuring the famous "Black Ghost" car. They are looking for cars to be on display with the cars on the National Mall! I'm going to try to be in attendance so hope to see some of your cars!

Got out this morning to check it out, beautiful car! Wish I didn't get so much glare from the display case though

A display case ? Really ? :drunk:  It's just an old car that's been beat on and needs to be restored in my opinion :alan2cents:

I agree in most cases Alan, but the display case is for all of the cars that are inducted. If I was the owner, I'd feel better about it being there since it will be there for a week 24 hrs a day without security. Last week it was the DeLorean from Back to the Future. Next week is a Duesenberg, and the week after is the Lamborghini Countach from Cannonball Run
