Title: Brake Master Cylinder Seal
Post by: Gary AAR on October 27, 2021, 07:20:30 AM
Getting ready to install the brake master cylinder to the brake booster on my 1970 Cuda with power brakes, front disc, rear drum.  Question.... what is the correct seal to use between the master cylinder and the brake booster?  I have seals made of two different materials.  One is a white foam seal and the other is a gray fiber seal.  Both came in a seal kit that I had ordered.  Was the original seal the white foam or the gray fiber?  See picture of seals below.
Thanks for the help.

I asked the same question a while back and the consensus was no gasket.
