I had my 1970 340 motor built a number of years ago and it sat wrapped up on an engine stand until recently. I went through the motor again and swapped out the cam shaft, lifters, timing chain set, oil pan, and and cylinder head bolts. I went with a Mr. Sixpack cam and the other parts were swapped out for original appearance parts. Everything was bought new and the engine was never run. All parts are Mopar Performance and are in excellent condition. Additional pics on request.

I am doing the same as you and recently bought a mr six pack cam for my 70 340....... what lifters are you using ?
oil pan sold?
Just a heads up, P5249061 comes back as a 360 oil pan.. If that matters...
I have someone on the A-bodies only site that says he wants it. I'll update the listing when it's final or if it falls through.
As for what it fits, it's tough finding current info on that part number but I can say with 100 percent certainty that it fit without any issues on my 1970 340 motor. I only replaced it because I wanted a pan with the correct "294" stamping.
I'll have to dig up an older MP catalog to see if I can find it described in print. This is the only one I could find listed for sale online:
https://www.jimsautoparts.com/mopar_performance_oiling.htm
That said, that is probably the last place I'd order anything.
