Title: Plasti Dip Clear On Interior Panels
Post by: 71vert340 on December 09, 2021, 05:45:16 PM
I have some old interior panels that are scratched and faded. Has anyone cleaned them, used a SEM Coat color and then sprayed the Plasti Dip Clear over it? I'm thinking of giving it a try on an old 74 Charger panel I have. I wouldn't use the Glossifier over the Plasti Dip as that may be too much gloss. Any thoughts? I guess I could always peel it off if it doesn't work.

I will post results here. I used an adhesion promoter prior to spraying the SEM color. The worst that can happen is I have to peel it off. I just want to see how it holds up to scratches. Videos show people using it as a "spray on" bra on the front of vehicles. Peeling it off is a hassle but can be done.
