Title: 73 cuda bucket seat foam

just picked up a 73 cuda
need to order new skins and foam
got the skins
does the 71 foam fit a 73?
is there a difference?

Legendary adds foam to bolster it...if your foam isn't too bad off to start with.

 There is '73-4 seat foam but they are out of stock most of the time..
You might check with these folks to see when it might be available again.

Also make sure the seats you have are correct for model & year..
Not uncommon for these items to have been changed and comes up more than you could imagine....

I do my own interior work and have for years. Back before seat kits and pre cut foam, we would buy foam and cut it to fit. In addition to his day job, My dad had a trim shop and we cut foam all the time.  The shop was busy all the time and dad had all the work he could handle. We also stitched the interiors from the original material that came on a role and the material was 54" wide. My dad was a stickler for not wasting material and I learned to cut the material with very little waste. We would shape the foam with an electric knife and then finish it. Anyway, if you have decent old form  to use as a pattern you may just find a upholstery or trim shop that will cut and shape it for you and who knows, it may even  cost less.
