I have this extra deck lid, absolutely no rust, bubbly seams, or anything wrong.
Took off a car in 1981 and been inside.
I think one of the plastic tits is missing on the rack, and rack chrome is a little dull.
The accessorie parts weren't chromed as well as bumpers.
Man, 2 weeks and no nothing.
If it was a luggage free decklid, I wouldn't sell it
What year is the deck lid? I don't know if that matters any but it'd be good to know.
Price wise I haven't done any research yet. Guessing a bit less than the combined cost of a used rack and used lid, whatever that would be. Sorry, I know that's not much help.
Not many deck lids with luggage racks together come up for sale. Not much to compare to.
Agree with pricing the two separate and then making that the price of the part.
If nothing is missing except the one little rubber tit I would say probably a little more than the two separate parts.
The problem is that there is not a large market for people who want the luggage rack.
The value of the deck lid is really not that much with the holes drilled in it, and the value of the rack is not that much if the chrome is all tarnished :dunno:
People looking for an original deck lid, don't want to weld up holes and people looking for a luggage rack, want one with real nice chrome :'(
I would say you're in the $300-$400 range maybe, still think it will take a long time to sell until that "ONE" guy comes around.. :fingerscrossed:
I mean, I'm pretty confident that my car should have a luggage rack since the other BP23 Blues Cuda's had luggage racks.
But...I have no build sheet. No fender tag. And I don't really want a luggage rack on my car. It might be something I would buy AFTER my car is finished, and back on the road; as an item to have on the shelf "just in case" my build sheet is ever found or if I want to be able to say that I can swap on a 'correct' deck lid when I wanted to.

I have to agree with you on purchasing and painting and having it ready and available for a car that was born with it.
Could you please post a picture of the entire underside of the deck lid that you have with factory mounting studs, etc, for a luggage rack.
