Is there any place that will make a can of spray paint for me if I have the code?

:iagree: great guys to deal with
I'm guessing this is a Canadian question? Is this harder to do up there? I've only done a little painting, but all the paint stores I've been make up spray cans with any, maybe there are some restrictions, color you want.
I've tried Automotivetouchup and Touchupdirect. Some colors are spot on. Metal flake not so much, may be a temperature / drying time / humidity thing.
Metallics can be tough to get the flow right to match in spot touch ups.
Depending on what you are looking for any auto body supply place that supplies paint can do. But careful on the type of paint - enamel, lacquer or urethane - know the limitations for what you need and mind the safety requirements.
I have actually had my best results using a touch up gun with compressor vs rattle cans. Better control of the spray pattern - true urethane base clear. I did two fenders for my '95 Intrepid that way and they looked great for a driver - PS4 silver heavy on metallics.
For custom mix stuff I use D&W in Guelph - only cause the owner was a neighbor of mine years back. They have PPG, Automotive Art, House of Kolor.
DW also has a store in Breslau, right beside Safety Kleen. The boys in Stratford should be able to help you also, Murray. AND, CTC has a line of oem colours for most makes, but maybe not all years. Good luck.
What car and colour are you looking for Murray? Paint code? I can gear you up if you have no luck elsewhere.
LOL! That's exactly who I'd've gone to! Say hi to Bill for me when you go. I've bought lots of stuff from them. They're a fair bit, Niagara side of Hwy#20 or Centennial Drive. Keep an eye out on the left as you're going down Barton, there's an Italian bakery (forget the name) that makes an excellent lunch.
This is awesome...I had this same question as well.
Want to paint my valve covers purple this summer. Now I will just have to remember this thread when I go to do it!

Jason, the guy said he would make up a can when I came. It would only take five or ten minutes. $15 for a spray can.
