Sold for $58,500. Seems a lot for a car that apparently was repaired at some point by grafting the front half of another car onto it (cowl and radiator support numbers don't match). Plus lots wrong under hood etc. Good driver for local events type car, at best.
Markets strong!
The pictures show this a complete front half replacement with welds across the door sills and floorpan. A lot of work to put an LA built (E0 140556) front on a JH23J0B296563 back half.
Pretty typical of the day...I restored a car that had the entire rear section added and about 12" of the front changed too :o but you will never be able to tell now the way we fixed it :bigthumb:
Interesting...from a VIN sequence it is the one just before mine.

@MoparCarGuy (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/moparcarguy_1103) Excatly pic or pictures are you referring to please?
A composite of the rocker panel weld photos for JH23J0B296563 with the unknown LA E-Body front E0 140556.
The result is a decent car. You would be hard-pressed to find a 70 Challenger and buy all of the T/A items to duplicate this car.
The $ add up very quickly so the new owner is probably happy with the purchase at $58,500. And, at least he appears to have a T/A.
Then again, what if this is a completely different combination of a regular Challenger rear with an LA front "half" and never was a T/A body.
No way to know that without some serious restoration detail pictures of the original car being disassembled to restore the front end damage.
Either way, the car appears to be a T/A and has the numbers-matching Engine, Transmission, Broadcast Sheet, Fender Tag (looks to be original), and Dash VIN of a real T/A.
