Title: Edelbrock Super Victor (Small Block)- Will it fit under a R/T Challenger Hood?
Post by: 71E-Naughty on March 03, 2022, 07:18:22 AM
Hi all,

I am in the process of building a 408 stroked small block for my 71 Challenger with a R/T hood.

The centre piece of the build is a set of trick flow heads.  I ordered the trick flow intake to match the heads.

The foundry that casts the TrickFlow intakes went under so I have to order a different intake.

My options are:

- Edelbrock Super Victor (6" carb height)
OR
- Edelbrock Victor JR (4 1/4" carb height)

My question is around hood fit for the taller Super Victor.

Will it fit under a R/T hood?

It would require a special low profile air filter.

How special?  Will it restrict air flow?
