Post by: Finoke on January 12, 2017, 06:08:43 AM
Thought I would start a thread for newspaper ads. Is it okay if it's mopar muscle and not just E body?

:unbelievable:

Hard to believe that a 1970, 318 Challenger would sell for $3390, when the Daytona w a hemi was a $105 dollars more!

1970 Daytona?  :notsure:

Daytonas arrived at the dealerships just before/at the same time as the NEW '70s - many were advertised as '70s so they were not thought of as left over '69s

You got me there Randy!  :haha:  Somehow I gleaned over the fact that the biggest pic in the ad was a FM3 440-6 Chally!  :looney:  I don't know how I did that?

There is an ultra cool pic out there that goes with this ad that shows some members of 1st Ave Plymouth standing outside with two full tractor-trailer car carriers full of brand new AAR's. I thought that I had saved it, but apparently I didn't. Anyone have it that they can post up here with the ad??

$2988, I'll take it. After all it may be the only one like it in Mo.
