Title: 70 challenger bumper filler
Post by: Jsand73440 on May 21, 2022, 11:48:38 AM
Does anyone have pictures of how the bumper filler metal strip is installed? Does the bumper need to be installed first before for mock up, and then removed? It appears to be screwed on with 6 or 7 screws. If it goes where i think it goes, it is slightly too long and doesn't really curve to follow the tail panel real well. If I leave it off, how bad is the gap?

The filler panel just screws on. I went to take a picture of it for you but what the bumper on I can barely see it! LOL

Digging this post up...Anyone have a photo of the bumper filler with the bumper in place?  On a 70 Challenger of course...

Thanks!

Hard to get a good picture, but if you look closely, you can see the line from the back of the body to the filler. It is buried under the bumper.
