Title: TrickFlow Heads on 383, Roller cam?
Post by: 72_Challenger on December 06, 2022, 09:21:38 AM
Hello everyone first time posting in the forums, currently have a 1972 Challenger with a 383 and the A833 4 speed, 3:23 gears.

Recently pulled the engine to do some frame work up front and am deciding what to do with it. The engine itself was a strong runner and I could leave to bottom end untouched if I wanted, stock bore size of 4.250. I would love to put a set of TrickFlow 240s on but it says it has a minimum bore requirement of 4.320. Boring over .070 seems unnecessary in my case just for some aluminum heads, anyone have any suggestions with what I could do?

Also would like to do a roller cam setup if anyone has suggestion, Thank you!
