I have been looking for 15 inch RWL radials with a speed rating above T. I'm not a fan of BFG radials (S rating), browning of letters, and real bad when wet out.
For reference the Cooper Cobras have S and T ratings and Mastercraft Avenger have M and S ratings.
Has anyone tried the Vitour Galaxy Radial G/T?
They have 7 different 15 inch sizes and have a V rating on the 60 series and a H on the 70 series.

I've been using them for about two years. They're 235/60-15 all around. No problems. The RWL stay white.
V rated tires tend to have short street lives and higher pricing than S-T & H rated tires.
A tire with actual RWL 's is unusual in that speed rating.
It takes 2 additional layers of rubber on the sidewall to make a RWL tire.
These additional layers make the s/w a little thicker and therefore generate more heat buildup due to stiffer flexing.
Actual lettered racing tires have the lettering painted on to eliminate any extra thickness of the s/w.
Tires rated higher than T are overkill in this country.
Can't drive that fast and the cars here are not geared for those speeds. More for European cars.
They have higher speed limits in some countries like Germany where the cars have their speed governors disconnected and can drive at sustained speeds of well over 100 mph legally.`

The V rating was not the determining purchasing factor, but merely a bonus. I wanted something better than BFGs and at $94 a tire, at the time of purchase, I'm extremely happy with them. About 4000 miles on them and they look new. I was tired of messing with BFG RWLs. It was an experiment in tires and so far a successful one. I have no complaints with the tires.
Anyone run the Nitto 555 V series tires?
I cannot believe you can get 275/60-15 in these.
You said you were looking specifically for a tire with a speed rating higher than S or T.
Other than this off brand tire have you ever seen another one ? And why the V-rating to begin with. There had to be a reason for this thought. Not just another option other than BFG. There are the Cooper, Mickey Thompson (same manufacturer), Firestone as well in RWL.
