Title: windshield corner trim screw hole
Post by: tparker on January 07, 2023, 05:12:59 PM
I had to repair the lower window channel due to rot a whole back. Now I am putting the trim back on but the corner trim has a screw that holds it in place and I need to deal with that. The original had a hole what was raised a bit to support the screw threads if I remember correctly. Has any one had to add the hole? Did you just drill a hole the size of the screw or something fancier?

Here is a pic from 70 Challenger Lover's post showing the chrome trim.

Just drill the hole. Just don't crank the heck out of it when you tighten it.
