Title: 440 Six Pack air cleaner decal placement
Post by: wanderlustin on June 05, 2023, 12:20:26 PM
Hello everyone!  I've seen many restored 440 six pack air cleaner lids but not many survivor pics.  Does anyone have any photos of original examples on how the decals are placed, particularly the "Do Not Wash or Oil" decal?  I've attached a couple of my own photos with mocked-up decals.  I understand that they were "all over the place".  Please, no 340 example or B-body A12 lids since they had the 2nd sticker regarding inclement weather.  Thank you for any input fellas!

Would this information apply to the lid on a 440-6 Cuda shaker setup as well?

no big sticker under a SHAKER bubble - just the filter instructions
