I always like the TA dovetail spoiler on the slope down trunk line of the Challenger. Seems to be much more needed on a Challenger than on a Cuda. I had been holding off for quite sometime due to the need to drill and then cutting slots at the underside of the trunk lid. Base on my research on how the classic Challenger spoiler is mounted vs how the modern day Challenger spoiler is mounted, I think I should be able to do this with just drilling the mounting holes at both sides of the trunk lid but omit cutting the underside of the trunk lid and use automotive double sided tape instead. The bolts at the end will hold the spoiler from flying off at highway speed and the double sided tape will hold the center of the spoiler tight to the trunk.
Today I placed the order on the ABS plastic version that claims to be the same as the factory original design. It will be shipped unpainted. Can someone tell me if the factory spoiler is supposed to be finished with the Organsol black paint or just some regular flat or satin black paint.
I've been thinking of doing this myself and will check the comments.
