Title: Molding Help
Post by: 340Challman on October 30, 2024, 08:07:23 PM
Hey Guys,
my rear extension and decklid moldings have a detail/profile line that I have only seen once or twice other than mine. The detail line is towards the upper edge of the molding and follows the shape of the molding. What is the application for this? Year? Model? All of the repops that I have seen do not have this line. What can you guys tell me about it?
Thanks.

Sure looks like it is the rear passenger side tail panel trim for 71-71 Challengers.

Agree, that's 71-4 Challenger molding.

Well that explains it then. I've only been looking at 70 because that's what my car is. Someone obviously put later molding on.  :haha:
That never happens. Ok thank you gents. Next question, are the quarter extension moldings for all years anodized aluminum?
